just listened to Melamede's interview on Youtube, guy knows his stuff, he studied free radical mutation of DNA - the biological equivalence of rocket science IMO, so we know he's no dummy.
As far as the personality of the man himself: he evokes an awareness of many points of views on a subject, does not act boastful or resentful, seemed more amused and helpful in the manner of a professor with an inquisitive student at the myriad of questions he was being asked.
IMO, he's a solid trustworthy guy, the business plan he outlines is solid, if we allow our patience to last longer than two weeks, we will see solid rewards.
