The Company’s clients include corporations and businesses, insurance companies, professional organizations, independent agents and brokers, Governments, and other entities. Aon also serves individuals through personal lines, affinity groups, and certain specialty operations. In October 2010, Aon completed the acquisition of Hewitt Associates, Inc. (Hewitt), a human resource consulting and outsourcing company. Hewitt operates together with Aon's existing consulting and outsourcing operations under the Aon Hewitt brand in its HR Solutions segment. In July 2011, the Company acquired Westfield Financial Corporation and its subsidiary, the Ward Financial Group.
