Here we have Left, Right and a Center party. It sometimes divides the vote on either side, but it is a good thing I think...

That is exactly what it is eh, a sense of entitlement and expectation from the two parties, that may be disciplined with another party.

Has there ever been another time is US politics where there has been more Independents then now?
I'm not sure. There seems to be quite a few Independents lately...
