My Fidelity shares got locked this morning. Interestingly here are the descriptions I am seeing on those (I only have P and K)

For P
9393IN977 WASHINGTON MUT INC NON CUMULATIVE PERP CONV PFD SER R OPT IN

For K
9393IN985 WASHINGTON MUT INC DEPOSITARY SHS REPST 1/40000 PERP PFD SER


The P is showing OPT IN (in the desription) but the K is not. I called Fidelity and the CS rep said that he was seeing the 'OPT IN' on both types of shares in the system on his end. I asked him if he could send an email confirmation, he said he couldnt right now, but once the master ballots are turned in, I would get verification of my vote and release option.

I do have a signed copy (since my wife turned the documents into the DC branch), but I would recommend other Fidelity users to call in once their shares are locked to confirm (I think the description is getting truncated for K maybe due to the length of the field but thats just IMO)
