It is also used to define a trading methodology. Some traders use it to declare large purchases of a stock up front to start the price rise or fall. It is assumed that if you "front load" then other purchasers will come in and help the movement in the direction you want. Can also be the precursor to a "pump and dump" scenario. So be careful.
