It will go high when the demand will more than supply. However, if 1000 share available to sell but some want 1M share that time what price will be to buy . Definitely higher because someone wants 1M share @ any cost but lower cost or only 1000 available. That person will make bid higher then someone will sell shares. Stock price this way move up.
