As I said before, you are misunderstanding the bandwidth issue. The full 30MHz bandwidth has always been available to anyone who chooses to utilize it. The size of the pipe has not changed. It is limited only by the laws of physics.

The higher frequencies have typically been much more difficult to use because of noise and the inherent capacitance of the medium. As companies have developed technologies to use those higher frequencies, the standards organizations have developed standards to accommodate them.

You make it sound as though a bunch of new bandwidth has suddenly been made available for DSL. That is simply not the case.

Does not seem to me to be apples to apples comparisons of products unless you discuss the Mhz they intend to utilize.

Again, you seem to be missing the point entirely. All DSL technologies can (and many do) use the entire spectrum that UTP cable can accommodate.
