The dollar dropping. Countries selling oil in Gold not dollars. Mutual funds and hedge funds buying. Bernanke just announced interest rates to be kept low through 2014 instead of 2013. Good for gold. Bad for CD'S, Savings accounts, etc. interest zero. Get in ahead of the crowd.
