I think they put the news out on Friday to give investors the weekend to digest the news. If they did pre-market release or during market hours, the panic selling would have been worse, imo.

Think about it, at the current pps, they probably were not going to make a dollar by the deadline in March anyway. Instead of a reverse split, which are typically bad, imo, they decided to go ahead and be de-listed ahead of time. This actually will save them $'s that they would have had to spend to remain listed.

As far as I can tell, nothing else has changed. I would not be suprised to see the pps at least back in the .20's next week.

As Old Man said, if the stock tanks early Monday, it could present an excellent buying opportunity.
