I am not sure myself, in past mergers Ive seen there has been a predetermined date that enables the shareholders as of that date to be entitled to whatever the merger agreement entails, this is called the record date. I am wondering myself but I assume when we see the Merger agreement, usually an s4 filing, there will be plenty of details.
