Debate Synopsis:
Romney said not to go to every state and promise billions of dollars of things.
Gingrich said well its important to know what the state wants to accomplish and what it needs to get there.
Romney said Gingrich called the Spanish Language the language of the Ghetto, in an advertisement that was officially endorsed
Gingrich said ( in so many words ) that every language will have some difficulty if they cannot accept English as the language of government
Romney said that he is proud of being successful but in the past several debates was somewhat apologetic, check the record on plagiarism its a big deal to some of us.
Gingrich said he balanced the budgets and America thrived during his tenure and when he helped the Reagan era. ( proven ).
Gingrich did in fact convert the Senate to a republican dominated facility during the tenure of a hugely successful democrat Bill Clinton.
The last major success of the economy was in the 90s and that was Gingrichs tenure.
Romney only lasted one term as governor, and has avoided that record.
Gingrich talked about the importance of space exploration for the confidence and success of American people, Romney said that if he and other businesses were presented with the plan to explore either mars or the moon he would fire the person asking. Even though Gingrich said he though private sources would be even better than Nasa and private sources would not ask businessmen for the money.
Gingrich talked about proposals to help the state of florida and Jacksonville and Romney presented not a one except that he would help people get jobs to afford houses ( too generic and not specific enough, likely just an empty promise ).
Gingrich said he is running so that in 50 years his grandchildren can be proud of the direction of the country, Romney said he has many grandchildren ( sounded like ownership which was not attractive )
Gingrich avoided eye contact to avoid intimidation, Romney used eye contact and his height to lord over Gingrich which may have hurt his ability to speak freely.
