DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 28, 2005--
PKG Entertainment (Pink Sheets: PEKG), talent incubation
and entertainment property development company, announced today that
it is planning to acquire New York-based Experience Entertainment.
When completed, Experience Entertainment will become a wholly owned
subsidiary of PKG, as the company continues to execute on its strategy
of providing global distribution for quality music and movies.
Experience Entertainment, a new private label, will serve as PKG's
premier imprint for all releases, music and video. One of the first
planned releases of PKG/Experience Entertainment will be the debut
album of recently signed PKG artist, Violet Nine, the fast-emerging
melodic rock band from Boston.
According to PKG CEO, Sandy Krolick: "This represents the first of
several moves we are anticipating as we develop our strategy to be a
vertically integrated entertainment company. We intend to bring
together the resources that allow us to serve the industry through a
low-cost, artist-friendly, efficient methodology for distribution and
promotion of new entertainment assets, both music and film."
