Agree, but the percentage seems low to me. Mineral rights I own typically yield 25% in this type of a JV. Oil and gas mineral rights must be different. I must defer to others..need to do more DD on this. In any event this cant be bad for the stock price and certainly beats the deafening silence the last several months!
