Absolutely NOT a joke. It amuses me that sheep believe they can't charge the gates and live free. Oh but wait, the shepherd will tend their needs. It is my belief that EXXON would see the futility of closing stores and losing employees and their market share. I believe they would HIRE MORE folks to produce more gasoline and drop the price to drive the demand for their product. They have access to hundreds of years worth of the stuff and then own the rights to enough natural gas to last for hundreds of years past that. But as long as we will pay their price they will continue to escalate the price.
