Both Intel and IBM are working hard with a host of Hotspot ISPs to make sure that the infrastructure is available to take advantage of the Centrino standard. The vendors are merrily jumping on the bandwagon because they don't want to be left behind.

That does not sound like IBM is wondering about adopting Centrino, quite the opposite.
