The Truth Behind the Keystone Pipeline Denial – Warren Buffett?

Okay…so this is weird…Bloomberg has killed the link to this story “Buffett’s Burlington Northern Among Winners From Keystone Denial.” (my original post is at the bottom of all this). If you search “Buffett’s Burlington Northern Among Winners From Keystone Denial,” you’ll find literally pages of references to the article. But the link is now dead. Now I’m not a conspiracy guy…but it’s pretty weird, don’t you think? Buffet has apparently been investing big in the railroads. (Hat tip to Dawn W.).

It’s all so convenient. Especially when your friend, the President, has the ability in one quick move to help your railroad make millions. The article said that all the oil that would have gone by pipeline would now need to be shipped by rail. And the citizens will pay extra for that, of course. The original piece that has been sent down the memory hole said that shipping by rail would add $3 per barrel to the price of oil.
