A possible timeline for a market top: February 16th or 17th because of options expiration:

On the 16th overnight could be some false flag crisis event. If they know about it in advance, they could buy out of the money put options expiring Friday for pennies. Or, stage a reversal mid-day Friday and load up on puts in the morning. Or,

Blow-off rally Friday, bad news over the weekend and a thousand point gap down Monday morning.

These guys will maximize their leverage. They are only happy taking everything from the unwashed masses.
