I have to disagree somewhat with this statement:

Vegas is a cold fish for smaller events like this and it's been this way since the economy tanked.

There are smaller event in Las Vegas almost every weekend. Tuff-N-Uff has been having events there for years and they draw great crowds. I think the poor Strikeforce attendance is exactly what everyone is saying. They know the company is doomed to be shut down so why bother going to one of the last few events?
