If your intent was to inform then you would do it in a calm rational manner. Since your attitude has always been to accuse rather than explain it shows your just looking to cast blame. John didn't steal your money like a thief in the night, you handed it to him thinking you were going to get rich. You did it out of greed (not a bad reason) with the excuse it was some how ordained by whatever mystic mumbo jumbo you think governs the universe and so a safe bet (A very bad assumption)that would also make you look pious. Before you draw horns and a pitchfork on anyone look to the devil inside. You can try to convince everyone in the world that you were cruelly mistreated, everyone but yourself. You know you stepped willingly into the bargain and now you want to play the martyr.

Ok lets put this in terms you can understand. Lets say that you made a great sacrifice. You were crucified on the altar of DFLR. Your suffering and loss made it possible for the rest of us to have the chance at redemption. If you hadn't bet the farm and ended up with the shaft there might be many more who lost all. Your sacrifice and crusade against this great evil has saved many. Sure some people made a few bucks, and many more lost some but you've hung in there on your cross screaming the warnings and lamenting your fate. So lets say instead of being just another looser who got blindsided by dollar signs we say your really a prophet crying in the wilderness. Either way your still out the money and will have to work a second job till you drop dead or the rapture takes you. So shine on...

Oh and it's not the governments job to protect people from their own stupidity. If it was we would have things like helmet regulations and seatbelt laws that gave probable cause for a stop and pretty soon strict adherence to the speed limit...
