Rebel Networks, a provider of cloud hosting solutions, has formed a partnership with McAfee (News - Alert), a managed security services provider, to deliver added hosted Exchange e-mail and Web security to customers.

Under the terms of the agreement, Rebel Networks will integrate McAfee's patented security technology into their cloud hosting applications that include Web hosting, managed servers hosting, domain name services, website promotion and cloud computing. Rebel Networks’ customers will benefit from McAfee’s advanced Web security solutions.

"This offers our clients who have made a commitment to shift their business to the cloud an extra layer of security," according to Domenic Macchione, president and CEO of Rebel Networks.

McAfee's solution will also be rolled into Rebel Networks’ CloudBusinessBox control panel for easy user-defined control. Rebel Networks’ fully-managed solution for online security now includes spam and anti-virus protection, phishing protection, a Web content filter that will be incorporated with a standard offering of Web hosting, hosted Exchange e-mail, citrix, and other applications.

McAfee, according to company officials, is the first managed security service provider to supply "Web bug" blocking and quarantine management via e-mail. The company delivers a solution for tracking URL click-throughs from e-mail to the Web.

Rebel Networks, a subsidiary of American Diversified Holdings Corporation, provides outsourced internet infrastructure and managed cloud hosting solutions. Rebel Networks is also an enabler of Web 2.0 application.

Recently American Diversified Holdings Corporation announced Rebel Networks signed on several new clients. To accommodate the growth, the company also announced a new capital expenditure program will commence in the first quarter of 2012.
