Created Mobile Tag, Inc., as a wholey-owned subsidiary of Paris-based Mobile Tag, SAS, to sell NFC and mobile barcode (QR Code) infrastructure technology and services to Wireless Operators in the Americas. Successfully financed $3M from new investors and secured a $3M direct cash investment from AT&T plus a $10M - $15M indirect investment for product development and launch. AT&T has integrated “Mobile Tag-powered” technology into their core network, billing, sales commissioning and order entry infrastructure and pre-loads Mobile Tag barcode reading technology on all non-IoS phones sold in the US. The AT&T Mobile Barcode Service is sold as a standard product by the entire AT&T sales force.
