Best guess is that the entire gold mining market was spooked by the news at Hecla's Lucky Friday mine and the report yesterday from Kinross. $700/'equivalent' ounce ?!? Yuk!

The fact that GORO's cost/ounce is nearing zero is ignored in a panic mode.
