Great reads this past weekend! Thank you to those who better explained shorting... This is a great board and people here are very knowledgeable! Thank you again for sharing information over the past several months.
I am long and have just under .5 mil shares and will hold for a couple reasons that I would like to share... All in Daubs opinion of course:
-Video will be the largest social behavior change in 2012. I feel that technology has left a void in social behavior...With this video technology coming, this will save business cost/enviornment on fuel and spark many new jobs! Video will also fill that void that current technology has lost on social behavior. I think Mr. Parker was quoted about his goal was to bring technology and social networking "full circle" using video. He and most of the speculated names are brilliant people in their own ways.
-Management are investing. That could be the number one reason I like this investment. If you check most penny stocks, you often see insiders selling. Everyone involved here is putting thier hard earned money on the line and the harder they work the more they will be paid off... That is a non debatable sign.
-This company has been around for over 40 years! enough said.
-700,000 Android smartphones activated daily...
-Technology. Bandwith and spectrum will become very valuable in the very near future. I read somewhere that youtube uses 20% + of the worlds bandwith... If this compression technology is acurate and "IF" you can make highquality video calls from Android to Ojo to iPhone to TV to iPad to computer etc...using 3g and do not need 4g or WiFi that is very impressive... I know most of what I just said is speculation for the moment, but in Tech "possibility" and "innovation" is what "will" pays off. If you are going to invest in something that is certain with Tech stocks then invest in Apple.
I am starting to rant, so I apologize...
Here is the speculation I don't understand and dislike...
-The articles from Veevoip. That is the only place that articles always mentioned VoX and PVSP and Airtime etc... I am not sure so I deepely apologize, but I can't take any of those articles seriously and feel that is the only place that got this whole rumor started about Airtime and PVSP...(DISLIKE) At this same point VoIPtutorial was posting youtube videos about VoX... Does anyone have true intelligence on both of these highly pumping/marketing outlets?
What about the one youtube video that was released around 12.9?ish and had the Airtime logo onit and then all of a sudden it was taken down and VoX was then placed in that same spot and had "12.12.11"... Things like this I would LOVE to find out exactly who is involved.
One more thought...
If you watch the past interview with Mr. Richards on the Big Biz show, towards the 11 minute mark when he addresses stock holders... I find the language very telling. He mentions that they "should have some very interesting information to share".
"Interesting" is the key word to me. To me that is something that will shock people, something unkown. For example, I don't believe that announcing the Android Video App is available is "interesting", we all know that is coming... Does anyone agree? I think interesting would be we have a new partner across sea's and are becoming global? Or the "new marketing opportunities to incumbent carriers" would be interesting... Just my thought. I sincerely hope whatever they release is truly "interesting". The green books will come based on what occurs in the next 3 months.
