Have any of you on the board looked into or shot a Windham Weaponry
AR rifle. I called the factory today and had a nice talk with the customer service rep. Sounds quite impressive. She was telling me that they are going to have an article in the American rifleman about Windham Weaponry. I am going to be ordering a R16A4T. Its a M4 type. They have a transferable lifetime warranty

A New Company is Born in Maine

A group of Maine investors has created a new company called Windham Weaponry Inc, to manufacture and sell rifles. Led by Richard Dyke, former owner of Bushmaster Firearms Inc, a group of investors felt there was a great opportunity for a new company when Bushmaster Firearms International LLC decided to relocate the company to another state and lay off all its employees. These employees in many cases have 25 years of experience in making one of the finest rifles in the world.

The company will be located in the Windham Business Park where the old Bushmaster was located. The company is well financed and plans production in July with their first shipment in September. The company will hire, at the start, about one half of the employees laid off and hope before the end of the year to add many additional former employees.
