The simplest and most practical use of enhanced silk worm silk is to process it into a cloth. that is what silk worm silk is processed into. Once yards of cloth are made, tests can be run, samples can be provided and sales will result. Kblb simply needs to take those strands pictured on notre dames website and process it into a cloth. once done buyers will follow once they perform their own tests.

with limited to no staff this process takes months to a year plus, so one can argue the step to preceed the above paragraph is to ramp up staff. yet one cant ramp up staff if they dont pay them. So one can argue to have money to pay staff you need an income stream. Thus the circular reasoning begins and the chicken or the egg dilema is exposed.

So the only choice is to pick a route and go with it. It is very clear what path we are on. Thus we have a long slow build up of silk (so things will go tremendously slow). Until we have a cloth we wont have something tangible to test, or for possible commercial partners to test.

Has any of the silk been woven into a cloth? If so how many yards are there? Has kblb done any testing on a cloth product, and what are the results.
