What I'm not sure about is whether a buy-out at this time is good for investors and the company or not...

Yes a buy out right now at any reasonable price will definitely net in profit for all those invested. but what happens after that? everyone moves on to a dif stock?

on the other hand, if a buyout doesnt happen, the company WILL grow and in time its net worth can be far greater than any buyout at this time.

Isn't that true? or am I missing something? I've never been involved in a buyout as an investor so I dont know exactly how it works. can someone explain why ppl are wanting a buyout so badly right now?
