sprint used to have a phone w/ a rotating camera, but
d/c'd over a year ago, i asked if they had troubles w/ the
phones, the associate didnt say any particular issue but
said for sure it wasnt because of the rotating camera,

the phone looks like it could have a rotating camera, w/ usb
it could certainly plug one in, i think its is the first of
many upgrades, i think this is to wet everybody's appetite

even w/ full blown video conferencing companies are stittish
and like ive been sayiny carriers either need a voip agreement
w/ a voip infrastructure, or they need their own voip
infrastructure, thats why 8x8, vonage, and some of the older
names w/ viop rollouts are getting alot of attention, if only
8x8 didnt have to come out w/ another shelf offering of up to
100,000,000? shares id say its would be one of the strongest
buys around for the simple fact that a carrier could be
up and running w/ a nation wide voip infrastructure ...but
actually it might be over kill for a carrier but a great idea
for a cable company

anyway, same old 8x8 spiel, the good news is that they are
making a foot print w/ these phones and though they may not
yet be full blown asnap powered they will wet many appetites
for such technology, no doubt the phones will have superior
capibilites w/ video email, and smooth high res real time
video mail is less than 2 steps away from full blown video
conferencing, again they could be much closer than any of us
know...but the bottom line is that companies are probably fast
and furrious in their efforts to be ready for the new phones

actually thinking about it clyw may make 8x8 obsolete realy
fast if they cant complement another company ...

ps one of my buddies that i was pissed off met w/ me and
showed me his new mot razor phone, i told him about new wifi
phones and his jaw dropped...he'll buy, the only question is
what phones, i think what clyw needs to say to differentiate
themselves from the competition during this transition phase
is that the phones will be upgradable to ASNAP once their
carrier has the capibility, then say they'll have a lil usb
clip on video camera also coming out w/ carriers that go w/
ASNAP, ppl will be fascinated and go for it, once the tech
comes out they'll upgrade and buy the clip usb camera ones
who's carriers dont have ASNAP will see the usb clip on's and
switch companies and get the next gen phones w/ the usb camera
built in

its a little mixed up, a little hazy we are definitely on
beyond the full blown quiet period for the company like has
been said, some more growing pains yet to follow but im
very optimistic, more so than ive been for a very long time
