DW does need to fear the shareholders. If he is not reaching out to licensees RIGHT NOW, or working with T Mobile on a settlement RIGHT NOW, he is worse than the crew we now have. We all want to see progress. If he bullies his way back on the board only to begin the stalemate again, he can expect a lawsuit he won't easily extract himself from.
