Hecla just got their Lucky Mine shut down today due to safety issues with built up material in one area. Apparently, it will take the rest of the year to come into compliance. The company adjusted its silver production down significantly for the year. The stock is down approximately 23% today. It certainly makes a good case for Hecla seeking out in the ground inventory in the area, with a mill as a bonus.
