Tip: while you shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket, spreading yourself too thin is just as bad. Find a couple of things you believe in, and buy. Also, check out the names on the board of directors: a lot of scam artists in penny land got a bit of my cash before I learned about the dishonesty of some of these folks.
One last thing: don't believe everything you read on these boards: go back through the posts far enough and you'll figure out who to take seriously, and who's motives to question.
