When I was a kid I played with firecrackers. They were illegal but we didn't care, we played with the real big ones. We called them pineapples. We would blow up park benches, public toilets etc with these things. They were a quarter stick of dynamite and water proof. Every year someone would get their hand blown off or lose some fingers. Such is life if you want to play with fireworks.
