The problem is, even if they get several contracts, it might not reflect on their balance sheets for a while. There are a few reasons why. For one, if it is a government contract or funding (i.e. hati), and they have been awarded a contract or a BPA (bulk purchase agreement), it will be 3-6 months before the government pays out. Just how long it takes to get through contracting and funding. If it is not governement there are a few ways it could pan out. A lot of times in construction only a portion is paid upfront in order to pay for starting/actual construction costs. The rest would be paid upon completion. Sometimes nothing is paid until completion, and sometimes it is all paid upfront. Just depends. Even if they paid it upfront it could still be 6 months or longer before the contracting/funding portion is done. There may be amazing news come out about a multi million dollar contract come out, but their balance sheets might not reflect it till summer time or longer. Just the way it works
