I have no link but wrote the findings down. LPGA site shows titleist name next to player if they use the ball. The putting was done 2 ways according to the article. The team putted each brand of ball over 200 times @ 10' to 12' on grass-compared putts holed on flat surface. Then they took each ball and used a sloped ramp, like the stimpmeter and rolled each ball on synthetic turf-I think they were putts of 14'. They measured deviation on both surfaces and as I recall the nxt was the worst, pro V next, etc. Then they spun the balls to find the heavy side & marked the ball in blue ink. They then took the salt solution/water and put all the balls in the container. All the blue spots came up except on the Wilson True-they were justing testing to see if the ads were truthful-they confirmed that it was. Yet the ball did not come in 1st or 2nd in the actual putting tests. They also mentioned that their tests were with balls bought over the counter and not sent by the manufacturer. If I remember correctly-3 yrs ago the titleist ballata came in 1st and the DT came in last-tested in the same manner.

I think if you google-rating best golf clubs or testing golf clubs-you might find the sites.
