It's not perfect, but it is a good guide line. Look at red and green boxes. Note that we are very close to a sell now. This is for one of my accounts that I don't want to trade, but don't want to ride a 50% pullback down either.
Trade the Charts and not the Heart - Expect the trend to continue until it doesn't.
