Market Commentary
by Bob Spencer, staff writer

07/02/09-- Recently I have received emails asking about Daryn Fleming, Darrell Nether, Sandra Nether and International Broadcasting Corporation. Let me just say first and foremost that Wall Street West, Inc. and Daryn Fleming has no relationship with International Broadcasting Corporation other than the founders of both companies are the same. I recently sat down and talked with Mr. Fleming about his old company.

Daryn Fleming, the founder and CEO of Wall Street West, Inc. recently settled with the SEC in a lawsuit against him as CEO of International Broadcasting Corporation. According to the SEC and court documents, Mr. Fleming neither admitted nor denied any wrongdoing in the case. Privately, that is a different story but I will not go into it here. As part of the settlement agreement, Mr. Fleming has agreed to not discuss the case. However, he certainly is free to discuss his founding, history and experience with International Broadcasting Corporation. The bottom line is the case is over and the judge signed off on the settlement.

It looks to me like a deal that went bad with a couple of angry former partners who just don't want to let it go because it didn't work out for them personally. From what I can gather, Nether doesn't have anywhere near the creativity and originality that Mr. Fleming has. Apprently Nether hasn't done much since Mr. Fleming left. An internet search reveals that Mr. Nether spends lots of time posting on penny stock message boards. Miss Nether disappeared from the scene completely.

Online research reveals that Darrell Nether has posted on investment websites about his former boss. Apparently Nether takes no responsibility for his own involvement in International Broadcasting Corporation, formerly ticker symbols "IBCS," "IBCD" and now ticker symbol "CPRK." Mr. Nether has recently made some ludicrous comments on message boards defending himself. When engaged by someone on a message board about his situation he states "I was not charged with any wrongdoing, thanks." Interesting how he uses the words "charged." Does he imply that Mr. Fleming was charged with something? If so then I must clarify that Mr. Fleming was never charged with anything either.

From my understanding, Nether was an obscure airline mechanic from California who was brought into International Broadcasting Corporation at the earliest private offering level. Mr. Nether was hired as a favor to his sister, Miss Sandra Nether. Mr. Fleming and Miss Nether were the original founders of the Company. Although Miss Nether provided excellent secretarial and foundational skills, Mr. Fleming saw little or no real contribution from Darrell Nether from the very beginning right through to the end. Nether offered next to nothing as far as problem solving skills.

The Nethers put absolutely no money into the venture. The entire operation was initially funded by Mr. Fleming up through the process of taking the company public. In fact, Mr. Fleming also helped support the operation long after it went public.

Mr. Fleming provided free room and board for Darrell Nether and Sandra Nether during most of their tenure with that company. Mr. Fleming provided a Mercedes Benz gift in the year 2000 and a down payment gift on a house for Miss Nether in 2003. Mr. Nether was given a Cadillac in early 2000. Despite the more than generous gifts and compensation, Mr. Nether was critical of everything about the company. Apparently Nether offered no real solutions of his own to any problems and difficulties that arised. No wonder Mr. Fleming headed for the hills.

Mr. Nether continued to work for International Broadcasting Corporation for the duration, right through Mr. Fleming's resignation in 2006. Mr. Nether attempted to run the company after Mr. Fleming left but apparently did not have much luck. Nether was unable to continue with the early successes of the company under Mr. Fleming's administration.

Mr. Nether publicly criticized Mr. Fleming in a press release and on message boards following Mr. Fleming's resignation. Yet Mr. Nether was unable to secure significant clients or generate any meaningful revenues after Mr. Fleming left. Upon Fleming's resignation, Nether acquired little or no new clients. The company floundered. The same sponsor, not surprisingly Copper King Mining Corporation, has appeared on one of their websites for years. Incredibly, old websites which describe International Broadcasting Corporation as if it is still a current, thriving entity are still on the web. One of the pages has a dead link where the Stock Talk LIVE radio show used to exist. Defunct ticker symbols of worthless companies also scroll across the screen of one of the websites.

For the record, Daryn Fleming was the creator of the Stock Talk LIVE radio show. The show was a milestone in many ways. Stock Talk LIVE was believed to be the very first business radio talk show dedicated to LIVE continous market coverage of small penny stocks not covered by the major media. Starting with Internet only radio broadcasts, the show moved on to Shortwave and then ultimately on to AM radio. Mr. Fleming financed much of this expansion with his own money. Mr. Fleming abandoned the show and the company when he finally realized that penny stocks are not real companies.

Under Mr. Nether's watch, International Broadcasting Corporation achieved little or no real success. Nether brought on a co-host by the name of "Homie" in a lame attempt to replace Mr. Fleming. Apparently this "Homie" character did little if anything to help the show. For a while they tried to continue to cover these obscure, corrupt companies known as penny stocks. They even took some of Mr. Fleming's original ideas like a plan to cover the Forex (foreign currency) market and thought they could run with the ball. The Forex coverage was Mr. Fleming's idea for a first step to get away from penny stocks.

Prior to his resignation Mr. Fleming made contacts that led to the takeover (reverse merger) of a mining company called Copper King Mining Corporation. Thus, International Broadcasting Corporation changed it name to Copper King Mining. Mr. Fleming certainly is not proud of the merger in light of how it has gone so far. Copper King mining reveals itself to be no different than any of the thousands of stocks listed on the pink sheets. The stock endlessly drifts down and down. Like all penny stocks it seems to get closer to zero by the day.
The fact is, Copper King Mining Corporation is nothing but an obscure penny stock trading on the Pink Sheets. The future of this mining venture is uncertain. An unlisted pink sheet company has very little chance for survival when even giant companies like General Motors face extinction.

Commenting on the matter Mr. Fleming says "Darrell Nether is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever met. When I resigned from the company I had no idea that he would put out trash talk about me on message boards and even in press releases. In my view that was simply because he couId not run the company on his own. Nether is certainly not an innovator. He is a major problem monger. The fact is I started the company from scratch, with my own money. Nether contributed absolutely nothing but grief. After I resigned, the Nethers denied me my severance package. They kept my motorhome, my portion of client stock holdings and my personal belongings. In the end they showed absolutely no respect for the man that took them out of obscurity and gave them a shot at entreprenurialism. I could have pursued a court settlement for what was rightfully mine. Because the stock assets ultimately became almost worthless and the legal fees necessary to recover the other assets would be excessive I thought it would be better to just walk away."

Mr. Fleming continues "I resigned from the company because it dawned upon me over time that the world of penny stocks and the people involved is a cesspool. I could see my former business partners were swimming in that cesspool instead of working with me to get out and away from it. They had swam out and apparently weren't coming back. I truly felt all alone. So I decided that the only way for me to keep my sanity and my health and salvage any kind of life whatsoever, was to walk away from it all forever. The world of penny stocks is one of the most corrupt and scandle ridden businesses I have ever experienced. An inside look reveals that very bad people are involved from the top all the way to the bottom. Self proclaimed "investors" of these stocks don't care who they hurt as long as they get to sell their nearly worthless stocks. The bottom line is that penny stock companies are not real companies. Penny stock companies never succeed as public companies. They remain penny stocks forever and destroy small investors who get sucked into their stories. I certainly never knew any of this that when I first took the company public. I had the highest hopes imaginable for my company.

Thank God it is over. Fortunately I have started a whole new life for myself and have reacquired most of what I had lost from the IBC experience. The best news of all is that I have recently developed a much better and completely legitimate trading opportunity. My new trading concept doesn't hurt people and deceive others. Most of all it does not involve any contact whatsoever with scumbags from the penny stock underworld. The best part of it all is that near the end of my involvement with IBC I met a wonderful woman who is now the love of my life. Without IBC I never would have met her. It is so interesting how life evolves. All is not lost. Life goes on and life is great!"

I appreciate Mr. Fleming's professionalism with his current company, Wall Street West, Inc. Wall Street West is a privately held investment fund and financial information producer and distributor. The Company offers an excellent stock picking trading service.
