I agree that the people that try to front-run conversions is very common, and profitable, strategy. I have done it over a dozen times, but that was always in small to mid caps. Do people actually try to do it in size for the pennies? I would think the downside to doing that in pennyland could be infinite.

If you do it in pennyland, there are too many risks. Would assume the best play would be to short the hell out of it, then buy the actual cbs from current holders. Would let you cover your short, get some conversion premium, and solves the liquidity risk for both you and current holder. But even still, you wouldn`t do that without the pipeline. Maybe G3 already had that trade on. $PVSP is doing better since the note purchase, but from a MV perspective, we aren`t seeing that much of a kicker compared to where it was over the summer/Sep.
