I think you are mixing numbers.

Per current share structure, I believe it translates to about 23 cents on low side not 70 cents.

Everybody was pretty much convinced already it would drop at least this much.

Nothing to like about this deal in my opinion, unless and that is an unless, they have some wonderful acquisitions in mind as a result of this.
