Think Provini’s “magic sauce” will be coming from Eastman Chemical?

He also said he expects to expand into the chemical business, providing supplies for “the magic sauce” used to create solar cells with Natcore’s technology.

From its work on chemical film, Kodak knows how to make chemicals, coat thin substrates, dry the results, and convey that along a manufacturing line.

You may be right about Rice. I just thought that its interest in Natcore may be a “personal” one since it owns the technology but Rice is a business also and does own other patents.

Thanks for taking me back to the presentation. I was trying to connect the dots on the chemicals since reading the news about Eastman Chemical but could not remember where I read about Natcore’s “hint” about using its expertise in other areas beside R2R thin-film applications. I’m not sure when the presentation was last updated but the info was there at least a week ago.

Looking forward,
Nashville
