The MIT 1000a post no risks if used properly and the machine is approved to test properly. If the MIT 1000a doesn't find bacteria, then none is present. It's as simple as that. Is there fear each time a new cell phone is brought to market? Or, how about the microwave oven. That invention flooded the market with no problem. Look, the MIT 1000a is only a machine. Your computer is a machine. The laser that operates the MIT 1000a is nothing more than a laser and water; the same laser used in your CD player. As far as the bacteria go, gloves are needed and a face mask. That's it. Safety depends on those using the machine. All said, there should be no fear in training individuals in the two days needed for instruction. Each trained person can use the MIT 1000a without any problems. This is not an atomic bomb or dangerous chemicals. Water, laser and bacteria samples encompass the whole mechanism. There are no environmental dangers with the MIT 1000a like the in the oil industry. In fact, oil rigs may want the machine to help keep crews from getting sick from food. I can see that coming.
