janey: MIT is not peddling Hula Hoops or another AP for the I-Phone. This is highly specialized product directed at a specific industry. When was the last time you saw a mass media advertisement by Intuitive Surgical (ISRG), or Medtronic (MDT)? All MIT has to do is concentrate on getting MIT1000a systems working for a few dozen medium size food processing companies and the industry grape vine will take care of the rest. If you had ever worked in an industry (other than the stock bashing one), you would know that one of the main efforts of competent managements is knowing what their competitors are doing. If the MIT1000a performs as presented to the investors, there will no need for local news broadcasts or N.Y. Times articles to get the word out. Successful results for the companies that start using this product will be picked up the trade journals very quickly, especially if MIT is able to post even small ads in them.
