Here is an update on my attempts to transfer my HNSS shares. Still no luck. Originally, Fidelity accepted them and then TDAmeritrade pulled them back, saying that they had transferred them in error because they didn't have the shares. When TD located the stocks at Penson and then tried to transfer them, Fidelity refused the transfer. I contacted Fidelity and was told that they had just changed their policy and that they would not accept a transfer of a stock that was less than .75 share price, but that I could trade sub-penny stocks with no problem. I called E*Trade and asked if they would accept the transfer of HNSS. They said no, they do not accept penny stock transfers, but that I could trade penny stocks, once I opened an account. Does anyone have a suggestion about which brokerage I might be able to get my shares transferred to? I'm holding over 4 million shares that I can't do anything with.
Thanks for any suggestions.
