Yep, repeating a lie just makes you look like a liar despite the goodwill you try to bring to the board. I find it reprehensible for IR person or anyone with the company to do that to a trusted poster just trying to help out. Thing is no poster should be put in that position as IR should keep shareholders up to date and has failed to do so without any excuses of why things are this late. It can only cause confusion, frusttration and more speculation and sure as heck hurts the stock price.
