While this would not surprise me... there would still need to be some kind of agreement between whoever this third party is and MP. It obviously benefits MP a little bit to have swag, no matter who owns it, but they are not going to sell it from the MP website unless they (I am still trying to figure out if "they" means the exec team or "they" as in shareholder" ) are getting a piece of the action. Well, that is, unless they are complete dillholes. Why would they host the sale of their own clothing and NOT the actual product they sell.

IMHO.... understanding this arrangement will tell us ALL a bit about the company and what kind of people the exec team is. That they seemed to keep it on the DL raises my stink-meter 10 fold and really makes me want to know the details of this arrangement and exactly WHO is profiting.

In lighter news, I visited the second GNC store in my town today. I went to the one in the mall about a month ago and they did not carry MusclePharm. I went into this one and they DID have musclepharm. They were selling the gels, creatine, assault and a few other products. I asked the gal how the MP products were selling and she told me that they were pretty popular, but the Assault sold really well. Not that this is new news, but reinforces to me that it is a popular product and bb.com rankings are somewhat in line with the market as a whole. Once again, my questions are not about the product or even the marketing (to date), but the exec team. I fear that our leaders are not CEOs and CMOs, but the cast of Jersey Shore.
