<<Kind of, because NICE is not the UK government authority, am I wrong?>>

The release says, "United Kingdom’s National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) has approved the Photoselective Vaporization of the Prostate (PVP) procedure for the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, or BPH, at National Health Service (NHS) hospitals in England and Wales."

I would not say you are wrong ... <g> ... NICE approved PVP for the NHS in England and Wales ... NHS is the UK government health program. Scotland and Northern Ireland apparently have not been approved as yet.
