I want to throw something out there for thought...

When people submit TOS reports, I always go view the posts. Lately, for some reason, a vast majority of the folks are pushing the POST NEW link and not the Respond link.

That makes it *very* hard for me to figure out why they responded the way they did, like if someone instigated the issue, that sort of thing. On active threads like IDCC and EDIG posting in this method makes my job very very inefficient and hard to accomplish.

Can anybody think of a way we can still allow people to post openly, not in reply to anyone, but force/encourage people to use the Respond button when replying to someone.

I literally pull my freakin hair out when people use post new, to say things like "Yeah, exacly Bill [etc]" I don't have a clue what they are talking about. It just smacks of incompetence (sorry, had to say it) and anybody that tries to string the conversations together (me or anybody else) has a very hard time doing so.

IS this intentional? Or do they not know how to use the site? What is it? I'm trying to think of a good way to solve the problem. And it's a major one for me when I'm reviewing TOS reports.
