Lagging means "trailing behind". In this case the points plotted on the charts are LAGGING or BEHIND the real time movements, otherwise they could not be marked on a graph. Now, studying the past charts and moves could give you an indication of what "COULD" happen, what WILL happen. I think you are confusing COULD and WILL. Sometimes things happen other times they don't.

however LBSR is different and is part of a collection of rare patterns made only possible by a market crash. whether it has follow through is a whole other question
