I have always asked pretty much the same question and I understand obviously there are no good answers except the promises of Hope and other theoretical predictions. I am seriously considering of dumping my stock before the 31st to cut my losses and start claiming the same from the IRS, it will take a few years but as my stock is now 1/200th of what I spent I don't have a choice.
