SEC temporarily suspends 5 cos for lack of filings

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission temporarily suspended trading of five companies through Dec. 22 because they haven't filed certain periodic reports.

The securities regulator has been cracking down on noncompliant companies in recent months, citing lack of current and accurate information.
