Shorting in the Microcap penny stock market is not the focus of SEC discussion groups fwiw. I am not aware of any focus on it. Please do tell me where I can find that. Most of the SEC's focus has been in the OTC derivatives market etc on the short issue.

I am a believer that nearly all if not all shorts in the under .10 penny stock space are shorts that do not need to cover via buying back open market shares but, do eventually cover using real shares.

There is a large myth about shorts being so powerful. I would advise all to actually try shorting themselves(NYSE and Nasdaq stocks, if you have a IA account you may be able to borrow shares of some .10+ OTC companies, but probably not much) and, see just how powerful you feel doing it and, just how scary it can be when it's going against you.

There is nothing people like more than a short squeeze, if a verified OS came out here and by it, it was apparent that there was a large short interest with a strong company, you can be certain that money would pour in to burn that short hard and fast. If the short really was to blame, he would have a huge problem really fast.

Take care all, have a happy weekend! I'm buying down here so I would like nothing better than a massive naked short, however, I do not think it exists.

If others do, and if I should be proven wrong, well now, that is just fine with me :)

GL and happy holidays to all HNSS investors!
