Ronn Motor Company moving to Houston; EDC says split 'amicable'

Officials with Ronn Motor Company said Thursday they were moving operations to Houston within the next 30 to 60 days to provide the company with better access to international business.
The eco-friendly automobile parts company currently has its headquarters in a building it leases from the Marble Falls Economic Development Corporation off Colt Circle in Marble Falls.

"It’s been in the works for a little while,” said EDC Executive Director Christian Fletcher.

The lease is subsidized based on Ronn Motor’s commitment to creating new jobs in the area.

Fletcher said the split between RMC and the EDC was amicable on all sides.
